Signal
Updated May 14, 2026 · FinityAi
Signal is a private messenger. In FinityAi, you verify the phone number you use with Signal so assistant messages can reach the right device. Linking uses a one-time code—treat it like any sensitive login step.
What you need
- Signal installed and working on your phone or desktop for the number you will link.
- The phone number in international (E.164) form, including country code (for example +1… for North America).
- Ability to receive the verification flow FinityAi starts—check Signal for the message and reply there.
Connect in FinityAi
- Sign in and open Integrations → Signal.
- Enter your full mobile number with country code, then send the link request from the page.
- When prompted in Signal, reply with the verification content as instructed—see below.
- Use unlink on the integration page when you want to remove the number from FinityAi.
Reply with the code only
Send one message that contains only the code—no other text—so verification stays reliable.
Assistant: tools in Signal
Tool availability matches the web assistant: enable integrations and tools where you manage the assistant, then chat in Signal as usual.
- Open the Assistant to review model and tool settings.
- Use Refresh on Integrations → Signal after linking.
Assistant user guide — deeper detail on tools and models.
Sample prompts
Examples only; tools depend on your account and plan.
- “Give me three bullet priorities based on what I asked about yesterday.”
- “Check my mail for unread messages from my manager today.”
- “What’s the weather like in my calendar’s first event city this week?”
- “Draft a one-paragraph status update for the team.”
- “Remind me what tools I can use from this chat.”
If something fails
- Number not accepted — Include country code; avoid spaces or letters in the form field if the UI expects E.164.
- No message in Signal — Confirm Signal is online on that number; request a new code from the integration page if it expired.
- Verification stuck — Reply with exactly the code; extra characters can invalidate the step.
