Slack, Discord, Telegram, Signal, and WhatsApp

Updated May 14, 2026 · FinityAi

After you sign in, you can link each live channel once so DMs use the same FinityAi account as the in-app assistant. Open the matching page under Integrations, send yourself a short link code, and reply with that code only—no extra words. Channel availability follows your workspace settings; if something is off, the integrations screen explains what is missing.

Channel-specific guides: Slack, Discord, Telegram, Signal, WhatsApp.

Slack

  1. Open Integrations → Slack.
  2. The FinityAi Slack app must be installed in the workspace you use. DMs come from the app; if DMs fail, start a DM with the FinityAi app in Slack first.
  3. Copy your Slack member ID (it starts with U). In Slack: Profile → More actions → Copy member ID, or enable Developer Mode under Advanced—see Slack's member ID help.
  4. Paste the ID, send the link code, then open the DM from the FinityAi app and reply with the code only (one message, nothing else).

Discord

  1. Open Integrations → Discord.
  2. In Discord, enable Developer Mode (User Settings → Advanced), then copy your user ID (digits only).
  3. Enter that user ID in FinityAi and send the link request.
  4. Open the DM from the Finity bot in Discord and reply with the code only (single message, no extra text).
  5. For deeper setup and troubleshooting, follow the Discord guide.

Telegram

  1. Open Integrations → Telegram.
  2. You need your numeric Telegram user ID (digits only). Message @userinfobot on Telegram; it replies with your ID.
  3. Enter that ID in FinityAi, send the link request, then in Telegram open the chat with the FinityAi bot (link from Integrations) and reply with the code only.

Signal

  1. Open Integrations → Signal.
  2. Enter the phone number you use with Signal, including country code (E.164 format, e.g. +1…).
  3. Send the link code. Open Signal, find the message with the code, and reply with that code only—no other text.

WhatsApp

  1. Open Integrations → WhatsApp.
  2. Enter the phone number you use with WhatsApp, including country code (E.164 format, e.g. +1…).
  3. Tap Get link code in FinityAi and copy the code shown on screen.
  4. In WhatsApp, message your organization's FinityAi number and send only that code — no other text. See the WhatsApp guide.
