Telegram
Updated May 14, 2026 · FinityAi
Telegram lets you message the FinityAi bot from your phone or desktop. After you link your numeric Telegram user id to FinityAi, the bot treats that chat as the same account as your web assistant—so tools and memory line up with what you have enabled in the product.
What you need
- A Telegram account and the app installed on at least one device.
- Your numeric user id (digits only). Message @userinfobot on Telegram; it replies with your id.
- Access to the FinityAi bot — open it from Integrations → Telegram (direct link).
Connect in FinityAi
- Sign in to FinityAi and open Integrations → Telegram.
- Enter your numeric id, send the link request from the page, then switch to Telegram.
- In the FinityAi bot chat, reply with the short code you were given—see the next section for formatting.
- Use Unlink on the integration page when you want to remove the connection.
Reply with the code only
Send one message that contains only the code—no stickers, prefixes, or extra words—so the service can verify your chat safely.
Assistant: tools in Telegram
When tools are enabled for your account, Telegram chats can invoke the same integrations as the web assistant (subject to plan and toggles).
- Adjust models and tool access from the Assistant on the web if needed.
- Refresh status on Integrations → Telegram after linking or changing settings.
See the Assistant user guide for how chat settings work.
Sample prompts
Examples only; available actions depend on your connections.
- “What’s on my calendar tomorrow morning?”
- “Summarize this conversation in two sentences.”
- “Search my connected notes for anything about the launch checklist.”
- “Draft a polite follow-up I can send about the invoice.”
- “List my open tasks due this week.”
If something fails
- No Telegram on this computer — On Integrations → Telegram, use Send link to my phone to email your account a direct bot link and a one-time handoff page, then open Telegram on your phone and return to the app to finish linking.
- Wrong user id — Copy digits only; no @username in the id field on our form.
- Bot doesn’t respond — Confirm you opened the FinityAi bot from the integration page and Telegram allows the chat.
- Tools don’t run — Compare with the web assistant; verify Integrations and assistant toggles.
