Knowledge and integrations: connect FinityAi without losing control

Integrations turn chat into a workspace assistant that can act on your behalf when you allow it. They also expand what the assistant can use from your connected tools. The checklist below helps admins roll out connectors responsibly.

Notion

Notion connections may use a workspace token or sign-in flow. Rotate manual tokens on an owner-defined schedule, scope pages and databases intentionally, and train users to reference specific pages in prompts when precision matters.

Discord (coming soon)

Discord linking is not available yet. When it returns, expect the same care as other connectors: document which servers and channels are in scope, and align with your IT policy for third-party bots.

Obsidian

Hosted vaults let the assistant read structured notes. Treat vault access like any production credential—limited distribution, auditing, and clear ownership.

Operational checklist

  • Enable one connector at a time and verify behavior with test questions.
  • Record data flows in your internal security memo.
  • Pair rollout with user education on what the assistant can and cannot see.
  • Review the Privacy Policy for retention and subprocessors.
